” I have attended Bruce’s art classes for ten years.  He is not only a fine gentleman, but also an outstanding art teacher.  At every class, he takes time to dialogue with every student and strongly supports  the student’s efforts.  He offers, in a kind way, advice on improving the painting a student is completing.   He is a wonderful  encourager.

Bruce is adept at teaching all aspects of painting.  I have benefitted personally from his instruction on drawing, sketching, composition,  and values.

I specialize in pastel landscapes, but Bruce has taken me out of my comfort zone by having me work with pencil and ink, oils and watercolours.  He also had us undertake portraiture!

I have no hesitation recommending Bruce as an art teacher.  In fact, I have personally introduced two of my close friends to our weekly class and they are now enthusiastic members. “

“As a watercolour hobbyist, I’ve taken classes with Bruce Repei for a number of years.  His expert and insightful suggestions for not only watercolouor, painting, but also a variety of other media helps one overcome problems and inspires one to push their boundaries.  Additionally as a former teacher, I appreciate Bruce’s supportive mannerisms.  No question is to silly, no difficulty is too small to receive his enthusiastic non-judgemental assistance.”

” Bruce is a great teacher.  His experience as a professional designer and artist enable him to give quick insight into what a work of art needs to go from blah to WOW.    He is quiet and personable, giving each participant individual help.  I recommend him highly.  “

”  Each week I am allowed freedom of expression and receive creative,  additional new information along with critical analysis and encouragement.  I feel honoured to be able to participate in sessions with Bruce for learning.
