Bruce Repei lives and works in the Toronto area. Studied Fine Art, Drama and Business in university, later doing a Masters Program in Theatre Design at University of Calgary. Worked successfully over ten years in sales before moving to professional theatre full time.

From regional theatre, summer musical theatre, Stratford, National Ballet Co. of Canada, the Canadian Opera Company, and finally to major commercial scenic shops producing for Broadway, he brings a rich experience and knowledge of scenic art and design for the live theatre, event and exhibit business.

For the past eight years, Head Scenic Artist at Great Lakes Scenic Studios in Burlington, Ontario; a leading producer of scenery and installations to the international entertainment industry. Previously, Head Scenic Artist at the Westsun and Edge Companies, also major scenic producers. In earlier years, Head Scenic Artist for two large regional theatres in Calgary, Alberta. Taught Stagecrqaft extensively, at the College level.

During the same time, design work has included regional theatre, exhibits, industrial shows, television commercials, and cruise ship shows.

Bruce is a founding charter member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 828 - Scenic Artists and Prop Makers (Ontario)
